Job Summary: -

We are seeking an experienced and creative Senior Marketing Content Specialist to join our dynamic marketing team at a leading MarTech (marketing technology) company. As a Senior Marketing Content Specialist, you will play a crucial role in developing and executing content strategies that promote our products and services, establish our brand's authority, and drive engagement with our target audience. You will be responsible for managing social media platforms and campaigns, analyzing performance metrics, and implementing optimizations to achieve marketing goals. This role requires a strong mix of strategic thinking, exceptional writing skills, and a deep understanding of the martech industry.

Responsibilities

  • Content Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive content marketing strategy aligned with the company's marketing goals and target audience. Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure content supports various stages of the customer journey.
  • Content Creation: Produce high-quality and compelling content across various formats, including blog posts, articles, whitepapers, case studies, ebooks, infographics, videos, and more. Content should be optimized for SEO and aimed at generating leads, driving traffic, and increasing brand awareness.
  • Social Media Strategy: Develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies aligned with the company's marketing objectives, target audience, and brand guidelines.
  • Thought Leadership: Position the company as a thought leader in the martech industry. Create content that showcases the company's expertise and knowledge, and foster partnerships with industry influencers and publications.
  • Content Distribution: Develop distribution plans for content to maximize its reach and impact. Utilize social media, email marketing, paid advertising, and other channels to distribute content effectively.
  • Content Analytics: Monitor and analyze the performance of content marketing efforts, identifying key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure success. Use data insights to optimize content strategies and improve campaign effectiveness.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product marketing, design, and sales, to ensure alignment and consistency in messaging.
  • Market Research: Stay updated with industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging martech developments to incorporate fresh ideas and best practices into the content strategy.
  • Content Calendar Management: Maintain a content calendar, ensuring a steady stream of content that aligns with marketing initiatives, product launches, and seasonal trends.
  • Trend Analysis: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging social media platforms, and best practices to identify new opportunities and innovative strategies for social media marketing.
  • Editing and Proofreading: Review and edit content from other team members to ensure quality, accuracy, and adherence to brand guidelines.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field. A higher degree is a plus.
  • Proven experience (6+ years) in content marketing, preferably within the martech industry. Provide a portfolio of successful content campaigns and writing samples.
  • Excellent writing and editing skills with a keen eye for detail. Ability to craft compelling and engaging content for different target audiences.
  • Strong understanding of SEO principles and content optimization techniques to drive organic traffic.
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze content performance metrics and make data-backed decisions.
  • Proficiency in using content management systems (CMS), marketing automation platforms, and analytics tools.
  • Knowledge of martech concepts, industry trends, and marketing technologies is highly desirable.
  • Creative thinking and the ability to generate innovative content ideas that resonate with the target audience.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Team player with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Familiarity with marketing compliance and regulatory guidelines is an advantage.
