Notes The work of art is one of the twelve images of the upper portion of the iconostasis known as the Dodekaorto (Δωδεκάορτο). The work was influenced by a copper engraving created by Jan Sadler. Sadler modeled his engraving after a painting created by Italian painter Jacopo Bassano in 1599.
