Definition change
edit@Middle river exports: I found you extended the definition of tone or pitch accent class (P5426) from Japanese-only to generic. I also think it is extendable, but community consensus is needed to change the meaning of the property. Has this been discussed? --Okkn (talk) 00:19, 20 July 2022 (UTC)
- I made a proposal for a separate property here: Wikidata:Property_proposal/Punjabi_tone, and have subsequently withdrawn it after coming to the conclusion that the suggestion to expand this property makes sense. Feel free to discuss here; I made the change as it is a relatively obscure property to begin with (only a few existing uses), so I wasn't sure how much discussion it was possible to attract. cc/ @Mahir256: @Arlo Barnes: Middle river exports (talk) 05:34, 20 July 2022 (UTC)
- Support OK. I support generalizing this property as you suggest. --Okkn (talk) 00:01, 21 July 2022 (UTC)
