Die Beschreibungen, die ihr erstellt, entsprechen nicht dem Wikidata-Stil (dokumentiert unter Help:Description/de#Werke). Sie sollten so geändert werden:

• “is a documentary” → “documentary”
• “ist ein Dokumentarfilm aus dem Jahr 2014.” → “Dokumentarfilm” oder, falls möglich, “Dokumentarfilm von Max Mustermann”

Insbesondere sollten Beschreibungen:

• nicht versuchen, Sätze zu bilden (Help:Description/de#Kein_Satz)
• keine Punkte enthalten (Help:Description#Punctuation)

Script seems to be okay,
do you have me a URL where I can see the unset bot-flag? My Revision-History of the edited entites doesn't show set/unset botflags.

• If you can see the edit on https://www.wikidata.org/w/index.php?title=Special:RecentChanges&hidebots=1 then the bot flag isn't set.
• You can also watchlist an item and check if there is a "b" on https://www.wikidata.org/wiki/Special:Watchlist?&hidebots=0

Using Wikidata pages as a source

That's a really bad idea, in my opinion. Was there a consensus in favor of these edits? Using wiki pages as a source doesn't add anything, and worse, you're using unstructured URLs, which makes it even harder to work with. --Yair rand (talk) 21:22, 2 June 2016 (UTC)

If the original statement already has a reference, then the reference can usually function in both directions, so copying it would make sense. --Yair rand (talk) 14:21, 5 June 2016 (UTC)

Will the odd references created be cleaned? See Q6218126 that has as a father Q6218131 and the wrong reference added is https://www.wikidata.org/wiki/Q6218131 that should be deleted!!! Wikidata has a problem with to many references to Wikipedia a good reference should be to an external trustworthy source and never to a wikidata object - Salgo60 (talk) 17:51, 11 December 2016 (UTC)

Film

Ich bin wenig erfreut über die über Euren User-Account kürzlich durchgezogene Revertierung beim Lemma Film. Die User-Description als Profi-Filminstitution verrät doch eigentlich, dass ihr fachlich versiert seid. Die Handlung hingegen zeigt, dass der betreffende Student/Mitarbeiter sich zu wenig mit der Sachlage auseinandergesetzt hat. Wie bei allen echten Einordnungsproblemen ist die Lage etwas unübesichtlich und uneindeutig. (Deswegen habe ich den leichtfertigen Revert rückgängig gemacht, um danach den unbefriedigenden Ursprung zurückzuholen.) Nein, es geht bei dieser Kategorie nicht wie behauptet um Film im Allgemeinen. Auch wenn die gegenwärtigen Q11424-Deskriptionen bei oberflächlichem Draufsehen das nahelegen. ABER eine solche Festlegung hat dann keinen analytisch-logischen Differenzierungswert mehr. Tatsächlich gibt es aus gutem Grund ein eigenes Datenobjekt Fernsehfilm, hingegen bislang nicht das logische Gegenstück 'Kinofilm'. Das wollte ich ändern, da ich - fachlich gestützt auf die Datenbanken IMDb und Filmportal - immer wieder auf die dort vorgenommene Unterscheidung treffe. Denn, das muss ich Medien/Filmwissenschaftlern wie Euch wohl nicht unter die Nase reiben, es gibt große Unterschiede zwischen TV- und Kino-Produktionen in puncto Ästhetik, Produktionsverhältnissen und Kontextbezügen. Auch wenn es aus der Not der Finanzierungszwänge geboren häufig hybride Mischformen gibt, ist die Unterscheidung angebracht und fachlich üblich. Kinofilm als "auch bekannt als" von 'Film' ist schlicht kontraproduktiv, denn die Arbeit bei Wikidata beruht auf Ausdifferenzierung via klaren, eindeutigen Unterscheidungsmerkmalen. 'Film' ist ein Sammelbegriff für alles mögliche Audiovisuelle, 'Kinofilm' hingegen ist ein sinnvoller sachlicher Alternativbegriff zu 'Fernsehfilm'. Abschließend für den Umgang in Wikidata bitte ich darum, dass Eure Mitarbeiter die Schaltfläche des 'Rückgängig machens' nur bei klarem Vandalismus benutzen, da leichtfertiges Benutzen Ärger erzeugt. -- Fazit: Ich möcht Euch hiermit auffordern, im Institut mal zu mehr als zwei Fachleuten über das von mir geschilderte Problem zu debattieren und gemeinsam zu klären, ob Ihr meine Position ('Kinofilm' statt 'Film') nicht zukünftig unterstützen solltet. -- Justus Nussbaum (talk) 14:22, 22 June 2016 (UTC)

It's already confirmed. And yes. We get the population-data only once a year and the relationship-task is running weekly.

Hi, Landesfilmsammlung! I think stated in (P248) is not intended to be used with every Wikidata item (only items representing books, articles, maybe databases...). For statements imported from Wikipedia -> imported from Wikimedia project (P143). Probably the best approach would be copying the source included in the original statement. If it exists, of course.
