What didn't work:
  1. I couldn't log in to commons with my (old) Ishwar username.
  2. I couldn't log in to commons with my Ish_ishwar username.
  3. Therefore, I couldn't use https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Special:MergeAccount since I wasn't logged in there.
What did work:
I note that there's some residue: https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Special:Contributions/Ish_ishwar_(usurped) . But, whatever.... Ish ishwar (talk) 20:42, 16 May 2016 (UTC)
