Project information

- Location Monte Verità uphill Ascona, Ticino (Coordinates: 46.15860°, 8.76283°)
- Accommodation simple, ancien rooms in the former sanatorium
- Commons get a glace of the area at commons:Monte Verità
- Entrance fee The entrance is free. You can move all over the area. The accommodation complex will be opened exclusively for wikipedians.
- Arriving track favoridly by train to Locarno. On the opposite site of the station is the bus stop for line 314 up to Losone, Posta. From there around 20 min. foot path. Furthermore, we try to organize a bus shuttle. Please mention your arriving date&time.
The event is aimed at both German and Italian speaking Wikipedians.

This event is optimized for 20 participants, at least 8 persons. The chapters WMCH, WMDE and WMAT will reimburse your travel costs on behave CH-Halbtax, D-Bahncard25 and A-VORTEILScard. All other lodging expences will be paid by WMCH.
All articles in the environment of Monte Verità are to be critically reviewed and improved. In the terrain there are a lot of memorabilia, relicts of the former inhabitants 100 years ago. The great importance of Monte Verità has been the predecessor of the so-called "Nature Boys" and the nudism.
