Bot-reported speedy deletion requests
This section is for reports filed via Kimberley-nia Bot on the SWMT's IRC channel #cvn-sw (bot's irc nick is Dellieplagiat). They are submitted on this subpage. Please watch this page separately if you are a steward, a global sysop, or a local administrator.
It is possible to manually edit this list if you follow the bot's formatting. If you feel a request is inappropriate, please remove the lines containing that request entirely. (Leaving comments, modifying the header line, and striking out reports will confuse the bot.)
Example for the correct formatting:
* ie.wikipedia *: spam - IRC user DerHexer ~~~~~
Properly-filed requests that point to pages that have already been deleted or do not exist will be automatically removed by the bot. Note: It is unnecessary to remove requests for wikis where local admins "can handle it by themselves". If that is really so, the pages will surely be deleted within a small period of time and then be automatically removed from the list by the bot.

Please see tools:~erwin85/delete.php for a list of pages tagged with Delete and/or the local equivalent.

Appears to be cross-wiki spamming this page (account also appears to be locally blocked for sockpuppetry).

MediaWiki pages by Template namespace initialisation script
- Template namespace initialisation script xwiki-contribs • xwiki-date (namespace initialisation script alt) • ST • IP info • WHOIS • robtex • gblock • glist • abuselog • namespace initialisation script bullseye
A little history (I may have this wrong, but...): Back when Wikipedia was barely coming out of the new MediaWiki software, there were only two namespaces created; the mainspace and the MediaWiki namespace. When users found it helpful to create what are called "custom user messages" internationalised (translated) in the MediaWiki namespace the developers created the new Template namespace to allocate these user messages and used a script called the "Template namespace initialisation script" to move them from the MediaWiki namespace to the new Template namespace. By way of moving, the script created new templates and left behind redirects in the MediaWiki files. Since the software does not recognize #REDIRECT
syntax, and most of the MediaWiki pages (tooltip, etc.) have now been deprecated, I think that all those pages in the MediaWiki namespace with the topmost revisions ((top) at the end) should be deleted. If there are any false positives, the software should fall back to a "default" message given after the page has been deleted, therefore there should be relatively no disruption to the interface. :| TelCoNaSpVe :| 08:57, 10 February 2011 (UTC)
- You are right, these can be deleted. But it's gonna take a long time, so In progress. More people to help would be appreciated! Jon Harald Søby 15:05, 10 March 2011 (UTC)

Templates
The following templates are used to set up the basic delete structure on wikis.
Template:Delete | {| style="margin:0.5em; padding:0.5em; background:#FEE; border:1px solid #999;" |- | | <big>This page has been nominated for speedy deletion.</big><br />{{#if:{}|The reason given is "{}". }}If you disagree with its speedy deletion, please explain why on its talk page. If this page obviously does not meet the criteria for speedy deletion, or you intend to fix it, please remove this notice, but do not remove this notice from a page that you have created yourself. <span class="plainlinks">Administrators, remember to check if anything links here and [ the page history] ([ last edit]) before [ deletion].</span> |}<includeonly>{}</includeonly> |
