വിക്കിമീഡിയ ഫൗണ്ടേഷന്റെ വിക്കി അധിഷ്ഠിത സം‌രംഭങ്ങളിൽ ഒന്നാണ് വിക്കിവേഴ്സിറ്റി.ഇവിടെ സ്വതന്ത്ര പഠന സാമഗ്രികൾ പ്രവർത്തനങ്ങളും നടത്തുന്ന ഒരു പദ്ധതിയാണിത്. വിക്കിപീഡിയ പോലുള്ള വിജ്ഞാനകോശങ്ങളിൽ നിന്നു് വിഭിന്നമായി ഇവിടെ ഒരേ വിഷയത്തിൽ അധിഷ്ഠിതമായ നിരവധി പഠനസാമഗ്രികൾ വിവിധ പതിപ്പുകളിലായി ലഭിക്കുന്നു.

ചരിത്രം

2006 ആഗസ്ത് 15-നു് ഇംഗ്ലീഷി വിക്കിവേഴ്സിറ്റിയിലാണ് ആദ്യമായി ഈ പദ്ധതി ആരംഭിച്ചത്.
