Winston & Strawn Taps Katherine Erbeznik as Transactions Partner

Katherine Erbeznik joined Winston & Strawn as a partner in the firm’s New York office and transactions department and tax practice, the firm announced Monday.

Erbeznik’s practice includes advising clients on the tax implications of digital asset transactions and transactions involving distressed companies, including both out-of-court restructurings and bankruptcy, the firm said.

She also brings experience in transactional tax matters, including private equity acquisitions and fund formation, cross-border mergers and acquisitions, real estate transactions, REITs, and oil and gas, according to Winston.
