The content gap metrics, specifically the gender gap and geo gap metrics have been redefined according to the specifications here. The movement-metrics repo must therefore be updated with the newly defined metrics.

This involves:

-Updating the sql query content_gap.sql
-Updating code that calculates content gap monthly and quarterly metrics.
-Regenerate content_gaps.tsv in metrics folder to reflect newly calculated metrics and update report notebook.
-Replace existing charts with new charts that display newly defined top lines.
-Update existing documentation on methodology of our calculation with the new methodology.

Changes to the repo will be iterative according to feedback and should be viewable in a separate branch until it becomes consolidated with the main repo in 2025Q1.
