good, basic, app. But takes a bit to learn functions such as edit name of a note then touch Edit to edit the note itself. If you are editing the name there should be a save/cancel, and if you want to edit the actual note, that would be a direct edit and not this 2 step process. While there is a basic backup/restore, it is only on the local phone, no cloud backup. And you can't access the notes from another device. No bullets are available. Although you can make checklists

Had this app for 3+ years. It was 5 stars until the recent update. They tried fixing something that wasn't broken, going against their 'simple notepad' statement. The new organizational features + choosing your own color scheme are lovely, but I wish they kept the original layout + look. It's all personal preference, but what appealed to me about this app was the simplicity, and it could have been kept it if they put the new features behind settings and not on the front screen. Was always a 5 star review from me but of late have had to downgrade. The format is perfect - nice and basic as per title. The great appeal of this app was always that it didn't have obtrusive ads - sadly as of yet early to mid 2024 this is no longer the case. No option to pay to remove ads either so just have to put up with frequent 5-10s adds that flash up prior to being able to exit out of them - occasionally can't even do that! Will be uninstalling and changing app shortly if not sorted
