I used noom when it first launched and loved it. Really great system, presented in a very charming way. I felt like it was someone in my corner rooting for me and holding me accountable. one coach said bye when she got a new job. Amazing experiences Coming back to it years later, it just feels like an app. The charm has been worked out of it. No real connection. Your progress map is hidden and feels meaningless. I still love the way it handles weight loss, but I don't like being in the app

Noom is a fantastic health app! I love it, I especially enjoy the daily blogs that you can read or listen to. They are informative, helpful, and give realistic goals and examples to work through. And logging each meal is straight forward, plus there's a food diary and recipes to refer to. It can also analyse the food you've entered for the day and break it down into 3 simple categories and show you where you might need to change or cut back on something. It costs, but it's great.

The content is great but unfortunately the updates to the program make it really hard/impossible to lose weight. I had an error in my "weight loss zone" by 600 calories. Noom agreed it was wrong and gave me a partial refund and said the error would be fixed "with the next update," but after several updates there was still no change. The app also double counts workout calories by also counting steps, so it adjusts your calorie target too much. Unfortunately, it's no longer a program that works.
