Simon Phillip Hugh Callow, CBE[1] (born 15 June 1949) is an English actor, writer and theatre director.
Callow was born in Streatham, London, UK, to Yvonne Mary Guise and Neil Francis Callow.[2] He attended the London Oratory School.
Callow is one of the most prominent gay actors in Britain.[3] For a while Callow lived with director Daniel Kramer .
