Help Understanding whats wrong

Hey, Im new here and I recently wrote an article on CEDs and I thought that the technology was intresting so I nominated it you the DYK section, but was quickly told that the article needed to be completly rewritten. Ah. I get the "divided" thing, and I was one to support his unblock. Now I know. I have an idea for those excess accounts, now. We can give them to people, have a crat change the names, clear the contributions,, and tell the people to change the password. Not to the main account though. Well, slight correction; we wouldn't normally do anything about them (unless the names themselves are abusive), if a user wants to usurp one and it's over 6 months of age and has no "good" edits (only vandal edits) then they can usurp. As for needing to change the password, when a crat changes a username they change it to something nonsense and the old account name no longer exists as a local user account so a new user can come along and grab it. fr33k man 02:58, 16 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

WikiChecker

On the english Wiki, you can use a site called "Wikichecker" to checker all kinds of stats for a user or page, checking all the namespaces edits have been made in and the times of days the edits are made in. I don't think there is. Besides, WikiChecker is a private site unaffiliated with the Wikimedia Foundation (and in some ways, a frighteningly easy way to stalk any particular user!); if you wish for them to extend their services to simplewiki it may be best to email them directly and ask. My page

On my page, I have two sections.... "Articles I am working on" and "Articles I have written"... can you put those two sections in a sort of a box with a border around it so I can archive everything else except for that and so that will the intro message to the page... Patroller for LazyTansy

Hi Fr33kman. I saw you granted this right to LazyTansy (talk · contribs). I strongly disagree with this decission. The patrolright is only useful for people who actively create articles. It only helps on Special:NewPages. We don't patrol all edits like meta, we only patrol new pages. @SEPTA; There is no excuse, rollbacks on this wiki are permitted thus; home user space (how ever you wish), mainspace (on vandalism only), in Wikipedia/Wikipedia talk space (fine as long as you are reverting you own, non-controversial event. Hi, just regarding the discussion at ST, I was wondering if we could change the guideline (to limit tagging to no incoming links), as the guideline at WP:Orphan isn't clear at the moment, although I would just go by the en policy untill we get consensus to change it. Howdy. Regarding Wikipedia:Requests for deletion/Requests/2011/Magic Bullet theory, I've been looking for where it was decided that they were a quick deletion candidate. I don't find it. I don't see the criteria. If you could point me to the discussion, then I think we need to add the correct criteria for cat and organisation purposes. Otherwise, we can't QD them. We had a number of discussions regarding this but we never agreed on any set criteria for deleting one-line stubs as there was never a consensus. It still needs a lot of work, but you're getting there. Generally we try to only use the words on this list. Sometimes we also give an inline definition such as, "cuboid (having the shape of a cube) ..." Let me know if you need help and you can also ask for help on this page. This is obviously a hostile work environment that is unwelcoming to new editors. I am surprised that you would make any sort of unilateral decision without discussing it with me first. I have a lot of other valuable things to do in my life without having people make demands for me to produce instant work products. This is no way to treat volunteers. Right now you are going through a period of getting used to how things work here. You got jumped on quite quickly because of the word "nigger" in the article's name. I think that could be understandable because many of our editors don't edit the English Wikipedia so might not know there is such an article and such a group. So I think we can forgive them for that. My advice to you is to start off slowly; reading firstly the rules. Pages you should read are WP:NPOV, WP:CW, WP:MOS, WP:HOW, BE 1500, WP:V, WP:CIVIL and WP:RS. These will give you a base of knowledge about how this project runs and how to interact with it. Don't worry too much. If you have genuine concerns of being bullied, harassed, or it your feel you are being treated unfairly, go to WP:AN and make a complaint there.
