State Route 40, New South Wales[change source]
Purplebackpack89 has nominated this page for deletion for the reason: Not a notable enough road for this WP. Doesn't even have an enwp article Purplebackpack89≈≈≈≈ 21:07, 8 May 2011 (UTC)

Discussion[change source]
- Very very weak keep - see Google, though I can't find any reliable sources. --SEPTActaMTA8235 14:34, 9 May 2011 (UTC)
- Delete - Don't think it's notable enough. Yottie =talk= 18:46, 9 May 2011 (UTC)
- Delete - Fails to meet notabilty.--Bärliner (talk) 19:27, 9 May 2011 (UTC)
- Delete There is no such page on enwp, yes, it has no references, and seems very unnotable. ♥ingly, Bella tête-à-tête 04:45, 12 May 2011 (UTC)
- Keep - this is one of the major traffic routes through Sydney. However the road numbering is being updated and many former state routes are now discontinued. It certainly has references eg: [1] However it may be better at this stage to create an article on New South Wales State Routes and have this current article as a paragraph within it. --Peterdownunder (talk) 10:31, 15 May 2011 (UTC)
- Definite Keep - There is a page on enwp and it does have references. Supernerd (talk) 00:02, 22 May 2011 (UTC)
- Um, the page was created a week after this deletion discussion started (by you, I believe), and it is NOT referenced Purplebackpack89≈≈≈≈ 03:11, 22 May 2011 (UTC)
- Looking a little closer, an article does exist on Enwiki but under a different title, see here [2] This is different to the page mentioned in the discussion above. Enwiki has pages on all the state routes as they are major roads. --Peterdownunder (talk) 06:52, 23 May 2011 (UTC)

- Keep - and expand, since that clearly can be done, based on the amount of content at enwp. PrincessofLlyr talk 14:01, 23 May 2011 (UTC)
- Keep - Road is a state highway so it is notable. Dough4872 (talk) 16:00, 23 May 2011 (UTC)
- Delete - Road is not a state highway, it is simply a traffic route inside a city. In Australia, roads are known by their name, not their number - the key roads of interest are Victoria Road, Sydney and Bells Line Of Road. The number is not important for any other reason. Maybe somebody could create a list saying which roads each numbered route travels along, like we have for Perth on Enwiki. Orderinchaos (talk) 21:50, 23 May 2011 (UTC)
- Keep - Just needs some improving... --Jeffwang16 (talk) 13:53, 28 May 2011 (UTC)
- Delete per Ordinerinchaos, or perhaps merge content with a Victoria Road, Sydney/Bells Line Of Road article if it is created. NotImportant 14:14, 28 May 2011 (UTC)
