Sharing is the joint use of a resource or space. In its narrow sense, it refers to joint or alternating use of inherently finite goods, such as a common pasture or a shared residence. It is also the process of dividing and distributing. Apart from obvious instances, which we can observe in human activity, we can also find many examples of this happening in nature. When an organism takes in nutrition or oxygen for instance, its internal organs are designed to divide and distribute the energy taken in, to supply parts of its body that need it. Flowers divide and distribute their seeds. In a broader sense, it can also include free granting of use rights to goods that can be treated as nonrival goods, such as information. Still more loosely, "sharing" can actually mean giving something as an outright gift: for example, to "share" one's food really means to give some of it as a gift. Sharing is a basic component of human interaction, and is responsible for strengthening social ties and ensuring a person’s well-being.

Sharing 分享 (Pinyin: Fēn Xiǎng) is the video compilation album (fourth album overall) by winner of Malaysian Idol 2, Danell Lee Chieh Hun, released on 27 September 2008. This is also the first album released under the artiste's new name, which was formerly Daniel Lee Chee Hun (李吉汉 Lǐ Jíhàn).

In reality, it features more of a compilation of songs from his past 3 albums, Daniel Lee Chee Hun, Unavoidable and Pasti, with the inclusion of 2 new songs. What makes this album special is that the entire compilation comes in the form of a karaoke DVD containing MVs of all 15 songs plus a bonus audio CD that contains the 2 newer songs. The 15 MVs are also accompanied with their respective karaoke versions.

Name Change

During the album's first meet-the-fans session on September 27, 2008 at Berjaya Times Square, Danell announced the change of both his Chinese and English names, which he done secretly in August. This was done due to popular Chinese belief that a change in the name may bring better luck and Danell himself actually experienced better luck after 'trying out' his new name for a month and thus officially adopting it.

Philippe Aigrain (1949–present) is a French computer scientist, activist and researcher.

He is one of the directors of the Software Freedom Law Center in New York City and a cofounder of the french non-profit La Quadrature du Net group. In 2003, he founded and directed Sopinspace, a solution provider for participatory democracy and public debate using the Internet.

Sharing — the act of giving, sending, making available to others copies of files that represent digital works — is the first step of cultural empowerment, of going beyond the pure consumption of products.

Sharing was and still is considered a legitimate activity in the world of works on “physical carriers” (books, records, tapes). Up to 35 years ago, copyright never had anything to say about what individuals do between themselves without aiming at profit. What I claim is that the increased effects of sharing in the digital world do not make it less legitimate, but rather more legitimate. When we accept it, we can start addressing the real challenges of digital culture.
