“You look best when you're you.”
This book reminds me of the high school teenage experience I could’ve had. I seriously devoured and enjoyed this book. I was smiling and screaming like an idiot through scenes. Liz and Wes are so cute together, I love their banter. The movie and TAYLOR SWIFT references made me love this book even more. As much as this book was filled with typical cliche high school cheesiness, I enjoyed it nonetheless. Not to mention, the trope childhood friends to enemies to ...more

5 ☆ — “She. Isn’t. You.”
the hopeless romantic in me loved this book so much!! it was perfect from the playlists, the taylor swift’s references, and the rom-coms. the fact that liz had a playlist for every situation is so relatable and wes…he’s just so perfect and every girl dream.

I know many people are obsessed with this book, so my review might not fit the standard but hey, so be it. To be honest, this book is 2.5 ⭐️ for me mostly because of the main character, aka Liz. Maybe it’s because im no longer 16, but I couldn’t relate to Liz in any way. The way she treats her loved ones because of her selfish desires? That’s a big no for me. The girl treated her stepmother and bff like absolute sh!t. She also had a way of overdramatising every situation, making it into a movie/

i can’t explain how cute and funny this book was. i was laughing so much, giggling and smiling throughout the whole book. i didn’t even expect to love this book that much because i’m usually not impressed with YA books.
i loved wes so so much (and helena - give my woman the damn credit she deserves).
i loved the banter, the messy fake dating part, the connection between wes and liz, their childhood memories, him giving “she’s not you” vibes and fallin ...more

ׂ╰┈➤ EXTEREMELY disappointed in this one. Why was it so overhyped on tiktok and here? And i also saw someone say this is the cure to all reading slumps. Babe, i'm gonna hold your hand when i say this.. but this was NOT the case for me. This has been dragging me along for a month, not really helping with my bummed up mood about exams.
-‘๑’- I love a cute coming out of age vibes kind of book, but i felt like the book had SO MUCH MORE potential. I wanted more plot, i felt like the a ...more

*que a Taylor Swift song that fits perfect for Wes and Liz*
I really enjoyed this book. I love Wes, and I love Liz. The settings and little dates they have are so cute, and for the most part it was perfect. The first thing that really bugged me was Liz's friends. I really didn't like them. Even interaction with Liz's best friend just grated on my nerves. I liked Wes's friends though! Another thing; I don't think I love Liz. She's great! but I think she treated her loved ones, ( ...more

Did I read this because I needed a Halloween costume? Yes. But I’m so glad I read it because I think I’ve just found a new comfort read.
Before I read this, my thoughts on romcoms were “They’re just too cheesy, why would anyone ever like those things?” But this book made me change my mind.
Wes and Liz’s chemistry is UNPARALLELED. I mean, they have everything necessary on the checklist. Teasing banter? Yep. Mutual pining? Yep. It’s always been you trope? Yep. Enemies to lovers? Yep. UNPARALLELED.

Ha sido como respirar aire puro después de semanas encerradas en casa. No me importa nada nada, la historia de Liz y Wes es perfecta.

ೃ︵➷ At first this book was a little struggle to get through it was a cute introduction it was so sweet how it was having the character show emotion when dealing with a loss of someone she deeply loved wanted to cherish her last wishes.
