This book was a ⭐️⭐️⭐️.5 read for me. I really did enjoy this fun take on a contemporary romance book.

I thought it was great how they were at the same book signing event promoting opposite opinions, each valid in their own way, with them both realising that there is more to the other than what they perceive at first glance. I also liked how half the book was set in Australia, I probably would have liked it even better if one of the authors was from Australian, but that's just a personal preference & them both being from Chicago did make the story. I however, do wish there had of been more closure between Jaxon & his brother at the end of the book.

I found the characters personalities amusing especially the playful banter between Jaxon & Abigail, overall it was a really enjoyable to read. It was just a nice easy book to read.

Some of the themes/tropes in this book are:

*Opposites Attract
*Slow Burn
*Hidden Identity
*Forced Proximity
*Emotional Baggage

I was fortunate to receive an advance copy of this book & this is my honest opinion.
