This was a quick read for me, and was also my first Christina Lauren book. I thought the concept was interesting, and started off fine, but the execution fell a little flat for me. I think maybe the facade drug on a little too long, or maybe I just couldn't believe Millie was so strong in every facet of her life but could not really expose any deep part of herself to her friends? I get that she wouldn't have many (if any) female friends, but it seems like these guys would know more about her just inherently from seeing her so much over the years. That was really my issue here, the rest was fine.

Now the ending?? Ah-mazing. I am not ashamed to admit I was in tears, and just loved loved loved it. I figured I knew how it would go, and it pretty much did go that way, but in much more of an epic way than I thought. That alone was worth it. I don't have a problem recommending this one, as I think there are plenty of folks who will disagree with my thoughts above and love everything about this book, and that's okay. I will definitely be reading more of their books though, that is for sure!

Pub date is December 4, 2018. Thank you to NetGalley for an electronic ARC of this book to review. All opinions above are my own.
