In particular the person in this role will be in charge to:

You get to help build our tax service – and make it a success 
In this role, you will help manage the daily and recurring tax operation task at ES-OSL and ES-CPH and to contribute to sustainable development of services and applications based on clients and relevant authorities input, as well as ensure documentary, process and quality conditions for our clients for all tax-related inquiries.
In everyday life, you will collaborate with both local and global colleagues in the team, as well as product owners and managers.


Responsibilities and main tasks 

  • Contribute to secure the tax operations in ES-OSL and ES-CPH* systems, including the resolution of any instability when it occurs.

  • Participate/be responsible for annual tax reporting in ES-OSL/ES-CPH

  • Support Client Services in responding to client customer inquiries in the use of tax products and services.

  • Contribute to ES-OSL and ES-CPH's products being developed in line with changes and expectations in the market by providing input to improvements, changes and any instability in products and services to the relevant Product Owner and Product Manager.  

  • Participate in the development of future products and services in assisting development teams as needed, e.g. give input for requirements and conducting tests.

  • Secure and support the implementation of new tax products and services, so that customers can be served satisfactorily.

  • Contribute to automation and streamlining of ES-CPH and ES-OSL's internal processes to ensure that we work efficiently with quality in mind and follow the applicable guidelines.

  • Prepare business procedures, work instructions and process drawings for the tax refund area.

  • Conduct courses and training as needed.

  • Participate in dialogues with government authorities

A strong team player with customer support and knowledge of the tax refund area 
As we are a smaller team, we are very dependent on our close cooperation. Therefore we emphasize the importance of your team player-gene and your service-minded and customer-oriented approach to the tasks. In addition, we imagine that you have:

  • Knowledge about general domestic and foreign principles of taxation 

  • Experience with different areas of tax processing is a benefit (such as Witholding tax, Tax reclaim, Annual reporting) 

  • Domain knowledge in the end-to-end post trade value chain 

  • Knowledge of our other services and understanding of the value chain within securities trading. 

  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral 

  • Great Danish and English skills in both writing and speech.
