Bringing unity with Odoo
With over 200 employees spread across four departments, collaboration is at the core of Gexpertise's operations. However, prior to 2019, each division relied on its own distinct software and processes, which hindered seamless communication and information-sharing across the group. Recognizing the need for a unified system, Gexpertise sought out a comprehensive ERP solution and ultimately implemented Odoo.
The first modules introduced were Project and Helpdesk, aimed at enhancing the monitoring of both production and non-production projects. At the same time, the Recruitment module was deployed to better manage applications and improve the company’s employer brand. Nine months into the integration, Gexpertise expanded its Odoo usage by incorporating the Sales and Accounting module to steer missions from opportunity to customer.
Since adopting Odoo, Gexpertise has witnessed a significant transformation in its operations. Every employee now works within the Odoo ecosystem, with numerous applications rolled out internally. This has provided the group with complete visibility into project progress, data reliability, and precise analytics—factors that are fundamental in driving continuous improvement and strategic decision-making. Employees benefit from the centralized, SaaS-based platform, which is not only easy to access but also flexible enough to adapt to Gexpertise's unique internal processes.
The group's satisfaction with Odoo led to the integration of the Leave module at the start of 2024, specifically to manage leave and absences for their Tunisian team. The module has delivered concrete benefits across multiple levels of the organization. It features an intuitive interface and simple setup, enabling administrators to quickly define various types of leave (e.g., paid leave, sick leave, RTT), establish validation workflows, and customize settings to suit their specific needs.

The ease of use of this module significantly aided the internal change management process, allowing users and managers to adapt quickly. Employees now have more autonomy, as they can effortlessly submit leave requests, track their status in real time, and view their remaining leave balances. Managers, in turn, gain greater visibility into team absences, improving their ability to plan production schedules and allocate resources more efficiently.
From a human resources perspective, the Leave module has significantly improved the traceability of employee absences. This allows for more accurate tracking of leave entitlements and ensures that leave management aligns with both internal policies and legal regulations. The centralization of this data has also streamlined HR processes, particularly in payroll management, leading to substantial time savings for the Tunisian HR team.
The digital transformation of the Gexpertise Group relied heavily on the migration of our information systems to Odoo. We now have a robust, comprehensive, multi-company tool that unites all teams around reliable and shared data.
