I’ve found that expressing genuine gratitude to each member of the team goes a long way. It can be easy to simply expect people to perform certain product-launch tasks because “it’s their job.” But that line of thinking often leads to mediocre results and hurts team/company culture. Everyone involved in a product launch (product management, engineering, sales enablement, sales, digital marketing, customer success, legal, finance, etc.) has more than product launch on their to-do list. Find something specific to thank each person for. It doesn’t take nearly as much time as you might think, and you will be amazed what a simple expression of authentic appreciation will do to strengthen motivation, regardless of the complexity of the launch.
