I'm on mediawiki 1.35 with the extensions installed and still the function to reply to a comment doesn't appear. Even disabling Discussion Tools and using the default tool, discussions do not work. Does anyone have an idea what it could be?

What do you mean by "discussions do not work"? Is the default tool one of the tools listed on the Editor page? Are you expecting to find Flow on your wiki? (This page is using Flow.)
I have the "Discussions Tools" extension installed but the talk page doesn't show the button to reply to that topic. I only have the option to edit the source code of the page

Are you using the mobile site, or the desktop site? Which skin are you using?
I have the Discussion Tools extension installed and configured. I followed the extension manual and everything is the way it asks, but I can't create discussions. The talk page appears as a normal page, not including the ability to reply, just edit the page.
I use the Timeless skin. Desktop.
None of the options appear, add topic or reply. Not in the edit settings in preferences either. Beta features are active.
Try adding __NEWSECTIONLINK__ to a talk page (and save your changes). That should give you these buttons across the top:
- Article
- Talk
- Edit source
- New topic
- History
DiscussionTools expects to find that "New topic" button, as a signal that this is a suitable page for discussions to happen on.
The new topic button is ok, but the reply button does not appear. I'm using this subscription model: Adminwiki (Discussion) 10:41 am Nov 10, 2022 (-03)
I suspect that your problem is the timestamp. See Help:DiscussionTools/Why can't I reply to this comment?#Non-standard date or time format.
It was the time zone, apparently it's only compatible with UTC, not accepting "America/Sao Paulo". I needed to set $wgLocaltimezone="UTC" to use the reply button. Thank you for your help!
