Samsung Account is an integrated account designed to facilitate easy access to Samsung apps and services. 
With a single Samsung Account, you can enjoy various services like Samsung Health and Galaxy Store. It helps you find lost Samsung devices with Samsung Find and ensures data protection with powerful security features. Plus, using a Samsung Account makes it easy to connect and control multiple Samsung devices through SmartThings, making your connected living smarter and more convenient.

With a Samsung Account, you can conveniently manage Samsung devices like smartphones, tablets and TVs. Once you register your device with a Samsung Account, you can effortlessly access Samsung services without multiple logins. Additionally, it enables you to locate lost devices, enhance device usage through connections and easily seek advice or manage repairs. Samsung Account registration is subject to age restrictions based on the laws of each country. The age limits for registration in specific countries are as follows:

Two-step verification is a dual security service used to enhance login security, preventing unauthorized access to your Samsung Account. When logging in, after entering your ID and password, you'll need to input an additional authentication code sent via text message (Galaxy device notification, authentication app, or backup code) to complete the login process.

If you've changed your phone number and you need to update your phone number for two-step verification, please follow the steps below:

[How to change your information on PC]
1) Navigate to the Samsung Account page (account.samsung.com) and try logging in (enter your ID).
2) On the two-step verification screen, select "Has your phone number changed?"
3) Enter your current 2-step verification phone number exactly as displayed, including the country code, and click 'Continue.'
4) An authentication code will be sent to your account ID email. Enter the code for verification.
5) Select the country code, enter the new phone number and proceed with SMS verification.
6) Your phone number change request has been submitted, and it may take up to 2 weeks for the update. Once finalized, we'll notify you with the updated number. After the update, you can use the new number for two-step verification.

※ Note: When requesting a change in the two-step verification phone number, the verification process will be based on the latest request and may take up to two weeks.

If you can't remember your password, follow the steps below to create a new one.

[If you signed up with an Email address]
1) Navigate to the Samsung Account page (account.samsung.com) and enter your account ID. Select 'Forgot Password.'
2) Enter your Email ID and select 'Reset Password.'
3) Enter your complete two-step verification phone number (including the country code).
4) Select 'Email verification' or 'Verify with recovery number'.
5) You'll receive an email with a password reset link. Open the email, click the link and you will be directed to the page where you can create a new password. Follow the instruction in the email to complete the password reset.
6) The link sent in the email is valid for 30 minutes due to security policies. If it expires, you need to start over.

※ If you don't receive the email, check your spam folder.

※ If you select 'Verify with recover number,' an SMS verification will be conducted using the recovery phone number after confirming your birthdate information.

[If you signed up with a phone number] *Applicable to South Korea, China and India only
1) Navigate to the Samsung Account page (account.samsung.com) and enter your account ID. Select 'Forgot Password?'
2) Enter your phone number ID and select 'Reset Password.'
3) Enter your 'Birthdate information' to verify your account. (It must match the registered account information)
4) If you had phone number verification during your initial sign-up, you can reset your password through SMS verification.
5) Alternatively, you can use the security questions you set up during your first sign-up. If your answer is correct, you'll be able to reset your password immediately.

You can quickly and easily change the country/region associated with your Samsung Account. Refer to our guide below for precautions when making the change.

[How to change your information on PC]
1) Log in to the Samsung Account page (account.samsung.com).
2) Click on 'Profile' in the top right corner.
3) Scroll down and select 'Edit Personal Information.'
4) Select the desired 'Country or Region' and click 'Change.'
5) Read the information provided on the screen. Click the checkbox, and then click 'Change.'

※ Samsung Account users currently can't use the app to change the country or region on their account profile.

Changing the country or region may be restricted under the following circumstances:
- After changing your country or region, you must wait 180 days (about 6 months) before you can revert back to the original country or region, or change to another country or region.
- Family group accounts and child accounts cannot change their country or region.
- Certain services or features, such as SmartThings, may not be available after changing your country or region.
- Purchase history within the account will only display transactions from the currently selected country or region. To view previous purchases, you must change the account's country or region back to the one selected at the time of purchase.
- If you have a Galaxy Store seller account, you must submit a change request through customer support.
- European Samsung Accounts with a selected country or region may face account restrictions during processing due to privacy regulations.
- If a customer has a phone number ID only, changing the country or region is restricted.
- If the account user's age is below the permissible age limit for the country, you cannot change the country or region. (Please note that the age limit varies from country to country.)
- Individuals with Chinese accounts don't have access to the country change feature. Similarly, users with accounts outside of China Mainland are unable to change their country or region to China Mainland.

Samsung Rewards is a loyalty program where users earn Samsung Rewards points by buying products on samsung.com. Points can be redeemed towards next purchase on samsung.com.

If you set up a Samsung Account after 5th of July 2023, you would have been automatically enrolled onto Samsung Rewards. This means that there's nothing you need to do — you can start benefitting from Rewards straight away.

If you set up your Samsung Account before the 5th July 2023, you can join Samsung Rewards by visiting www.samsung.com/ph/rewards and clicking the "Join Now" button on the page or through Samsung Members app.

  • Samsung Find functionality, supported environments, and specifications may vary by product.
  • The Samsung Find app is available for download from the Galaxy Store.
  • The device must be turned on and logged in to your Samsung account.
  • Offline finding is currently supported on Galaxy smartphones and tablets with at least Android 8, Galaxy Watch3, Galaxy Watch4, Galaxy Watch5, and Galaxy Buds Live, Galaxy Buds Pro, Galaxy Buds2 and Galaxy Buds2 Pro, and all types of Galaxy SmartTag series. Additional devices will be added in the future.
  • The offline finding feature for your Galaxy Watch and Buds can be enabled within the Galaxy Wearable app. The connected phone or tablet’s offline finding settings will also be applied to your Galaxy Watch and Buds.
  • Devices registered to Samsung Find can be located in all countries except China (Hong Kong and Taiwan are supported).
