My calendar synced with my sister's calendar . I don't know how. We don't have any shared account and we didn't share it ourselves. How can we separate ? We both have the S24
Every so often when I try to pay for something using my phone (Galaxy A34 with Google Wallet) it'll randomly decide not to work. It usually says 'moved too fast' (even when the phone is perfectly still) or just 'that didn't work'.
Sometimes it'll then turn off the contactless payment function altogether until I restart the phone, which if I'm on the underground means having to wait for 3-5 minutes in a crowded space, getting in other people's way. Is there a fix for this at all?
I dropped my phone a few weeks back and ever since the power button has been wonky. Sometimes it doesn't work sometimes the phone thinks it's being pressed as I'm using it.
I have the accessibility shortcut so I don't need the button at all. Is there a way to disable it while the phone is turned on?
As the title says, on my S21+ the audio crackles when the volume is high. This happens on WhatsApp when I'm listening to a vocal recording and, apparently, it seems to happen during calls with the speakerphone active. This problem seems to have appeared since I have installed the latest update.
Hey y'all, I'm looking to buy a new galaxy device, is the s23 worth it or should I pay extra and get the latest s24, although I haven't noticed much difference between the two, but y'all tech savvy people can maybe help me choose better ! :)
Thanks
My tablet, after an update, has been stuck in the boot sequence. There is nothing I've tried that has fixed it. I've attempted any and all ways to correct this that the internet (and reddit) has offered. My hail Mary is rooting it. Could any of you kind souls direct me to a tutorial on how you break the boot cycle, or factory reset, or rooting it?
Hello, I am using an old A42 5G (Why get a new one before this one gives up, huh?) running OneUI 4.1/Android 12. I'm more of an Google app user rather than Samsung app user and have been using Google dialer to my satisfaction except one small annoyance. I can't seem to open phone numbers I click in my browser open in the Google dialer, they always open in the Samsung one which asks me if I want to make it the default and so on.
Can I fix this?
When i'm, for example, listening to music, the quiet parts just get completely cut out, but the louder parts stay and sound normal. If there's like a small, quiet sound accompanying the main track, it's inaudie. Is there any way to fix this, or do I just have to live with it? Things like headphones don't carry the problem, it's only the phone's speakers.
So context: was at a music festival in London today and got a notification that my service provider (ID Mobile) has temporarily turned off my mobile data services. I suspected this was due to high traffic of data usage in the area (due to the festival), but I tried using SIM manager to turn off/on the SIM just in case. This didn't work, so I restarted my phone.
This turned out to be a massive mistake, as this is where things get really weird. I am now unable to toggle the SIM1 slot on/off and, where it previously said my phone number under SIM1, it now just says "unknown number". Mobile data is completely unable to be turned on as it says there is no SIM detected (the SIM card is confirmed not the issue). Aeroplane mode is also permanently semi-active, with the bubble being a faded blue colour with no way to stop it. My settings are also starting to degrade: I can't use SIM manager due to "com.android.phone" stopping, I can't run diagnostics due to Samsung Members constantly crashing. My IMEI just says "unknown". I even get an unspecified error when attempting to check for a system update. It's truly bizarre.
I've tried everything, reset every setting, cleared every cache, rebooted the phone like 20 times, force stopped samsung members, attempted every fix - nothing. It's just so strange because this doesn't seem to be a hardware issue - the phone has sustained no damage recently and was working 100% fine before today, plus the mobile network supplier temporarily disabling my mobile data seemingly triggered this whole mess. Only step now is to factory reset my phone, but I thought I'd ask here first.
Has anyone else experienced this issue? I'm at a loss at what to do and am finding it incredibly frustrating, since it seems like large parts of my phone's software has just decided to stop working ofr seemingly no reason. Thanks in advance!
So when I use my phone, for not a long time, and I leave it just for a bit, then when I want to record on my Samsung A55, it sounds like 8 bit, and I don't know what to do. I have tried to restart the device, and guess what? It didn't do anything. Today it gave me an update and of course i update the device. And after the update no luck. So i want to ask you guys.
After switching to Samsung Internet, I missed the "preview link" feature from Chrome, which allows you to quickly see any link content without opening a new tab for it.
Today, I figured out you can actually do something similar in Samsung Internet!
-
Hold a finger on any link until it becomes draggable
-
Drag it to the edge of the screen until it becomes the app icon of Samsung Internet
-
Drag it back to the center of the screen and release it. The link will be opened in a new popup window
Good thing is it works with images and selected text as well! But keep in mind, if you close the popup window without closing the tab first, it will remain in the popup window on the next open.
Now, I only miss the ability to quickly send the link back to the main window... You can hold finger on tab and tap "Open in another window" to achieve it, but this action will also minimize the main window for some reason.
I just bought an unlocked S24 Plus but really love the feel and screen on my wife's S23 Ultra.
Plus, the camera seems to be better on the Ultra.
I'll probably look to see if anyone would trade on Marketplace. Feels more comfortable than the S24 Ultra.
I am pulling out my hair because I can't find the fix. I can't view photos in SMS Organizer. In addition, when I am in a group text messages, I can't see what anybody is saying. I have to open Google or Samsung messenger to view the photos or group messages. Once I go back to SMS Organizer and make it my default, I can see all of it, until a new one comes in and then I can't. Any help would be appreciated.
So sick of it. Fails a lot. Do the re- register. Might last a week before it stuffs up again. Don't have a screen protector, it's annoying especially when using wallet to pay for something holding up people behind me because the reader keeps on failing. My cheaper phones' readers were a lot better than this one...
is it a good idea to get the battery changed on the s23+ after using it for a year, so i get the full capacity again, thinking about using a 3rd party service that comes to your door
I have the Galaxy S24 Ultra One UI 6.1, I have my phone scheduled to go to Do Not Disturb every night from 10pm to 7am. I have approximately 25 contracts set that can call me and my phone will still ring. A lot of those contracts are people that would call me in a work emergency and are really important. One night I missed a call from one of those people, when I checked my DND setting, there were no contracts. I replaced all contacts then a few days or weeks later, I'd think about this issue, check and my contacts would be gone.
Has anyone else had this issue and is there a fix? Like I said, a lot of these contracts reach out in true emergencies and need to be able to get through, but I don't want my phone going off because group chats I may be in
I'm curious about whether or not to keep the 5G standalone option turn ON. I noticed the 5G option significantly affect the battery health. But might as well use the feature. Which is better for stable connectivity.. I don't want to lose signal while playing online FPS games and all.
