Can we stop asking the same 3 questions everyday?
  1. Should I switch to the Fold? None of us can answer that for you. Do research like we all did and figure out what you like.

  2. Should I wait to upgrade to the Fold 6? Again, considering it hasn't been released yet and none of us own it , we are waiting just like you to see how it stacks up. Refer back to question 1 for answer.

  3. Anything trade in related. We dunno. Refer back to question 1.

Please for the love of Fold stop overruning this sub with the same mundane and repetitive posts!

Max Mustard is the greatest Meta Quest game I have ever played. It's not even close.

Max Mustard is the greatest game I have ever played on the Meta Quest.  My favorite games are platformers.  I bought Max Mustard with the 90% promo but honestly it’s worth full price.  I am genuinely overwhelmed with joy at what I have experienced.

A lot of Meta Quest games are not well polished or have poor graphics.  People often say games are limited by the hardware.  Max Mustard shows the hardware is powerful enough to have a fully immersive experience with AAA quality graphics.  The cartoon animation is absolutely delightful and the little touches send it right over the top.  It’s a third-person view and you control the character Max.  When she’s facing you, she looks up at you, if you move around, her head turns to keep looking at you.  Unbelievable.

The level designs are great. Excellent use of perspective as it has you looking around in different ways to see parts of the level.  There are also upgrades along the way which keep it interesting. I was absolutely enthralled from the very beginning and then, the plunger gun.

As if the phenomenal design wasn’t enough so far, you also get a plunger gun to shoot at various enemies, targets and level elements.  I was trying to get a coin box and was standing on a platform.  I accidentally hit the platform with the plunger gun and Max tumbled down.  Honestly, these small touches are really what did it for me.

The game also has you collecting coins and those coins are good for something!  There are power ups and other upgrades to get and it makes me want to get every coin I can.  I am cherishing my time in each level and not just trying to get to the end.

After the level is finished, you go to a game map.  Even the over world level map is the beautiful 3D miniature-style and it’s great.  In fact, even the title screen itself is well polished!

I also really enjoy the music.  It is the perfect tone for the game and I love it.

If they release another game or a DLC, I will buy it full price day one.  No question.

I am very resistant to hyperbole.  I think a lot of things get way over exaggerated and the realities are often disappointing.  Not so with Max Mustard.  Worth every bit of praise it deserves. The only thing I want is MORE.
