About me I am a consultant based in the UK specialising in the application and use of computing and IT in libraries. I have been working in Library and IT services within the Higher Education sector for about 20 years. Before becoming an independent consultant I worked at the West Middlesex Hospital, Institute of Child Health, Royal Holloway, University of London, Imperial College London and The Open University. I have contributed to the OpenRefine data cleaning tool and I'm interested in the potential for integration between OpenRefine and Wikidata. My work I currently work as an independent consultant working mainly working with libraries and universities. In 2018 I worked as a Data Analyst at mySociety (Q10851773), primarily working on projects aiming to to gather consistently-structured data on every elected representative in the world. That work was funded by a Wikimedia Foundation (Q180) grant to help improve the level of political information within Wikidata.
