朴次茅斯大学
朴次茅斯大学（英语：University of Portsmouth）是一所位于英国汉普郡朴次茅斯市的大学。由Guildhall校区和Langstone校区组成。

历史
编辑1869年，“普兹茅斯及戈斯波特科学与艺术学校”成立。由于海运和贸易是该市的基础，因而学校主要的功能是训练那些在码头及皇家海军船坞工作的工程师以及技工。但是由于二战纳粹德国的空袭，使得该市的海运业衰退以及人口下降，学校被迫改变了教学大纲和手段去吸引更多的学生。
这样一直到了20世纪60年代，因为得到了政府的资助，学校更名为普兹茅斯工艺学院。

该大学提供两百多种本科学位及150多种硕士学位，此外还有六十五种研究硕士学位。[10] 该大学为私立高等教育机构盎格鲁-欧洲脊骨神经医学院（Anglo-European College of Chiropractic）颁发专业硕士学位。[11]原先也为私立教育机传统针灸和东方医学学院（London College of Traditional Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine）颁发针灸荣誉理学士学位和中医理科硕士学位。但该学院在2011年倒闭。[12]2008年，科研评估将其八个部门评为“世界领先” 在“Allied Health Professions and Studies”、“Applied Mathematics”和“European Studies”的研究质量中排在全英前十。[10][13]
