HD 142415 is a 7th magnitude yellow main-sequence star 113 light years from Earth in the southern constellation Norma. This star dwarfs the Sun in terms of mass (1.09x), size (1.03x), luminosity (1.1x), temperature (1.01x), and metallicity (1.62x). The age of the star is as young as 1.5 billion years.

The star is currently known to have one planet.
