The pogrom in Korkino happened on the evening of October 24, 2024, as various publications report, local residents of the Gypsy quarter killed a Russian female taxi driver, which provoked a pogrom. Local residents besieged several houses and turned over cars, the sounds of shooting were heard, at least two persons were wounded. Law enforcement forces arrived at the scene and tried to stop the conflict, but this only angered the Russian residents.[1][2][3][4]
43 suspected perpertrators of the riot were detained.[5]
