History
[edit]Misty Blues, a band based out of Berkshire County, Massachusetts, has been a prominent figure in the music scene since 1999. The band is led by its lead singer and band founder, Gina Coleman.[1][6][5]
The band's music collection includes collaborations with renowned artists such as Eric Gales, Charles Neville, and Joe Louis Walker. Misty Blues also opened for contemporary blues icons like Tab Benoit, James Montgomery, and John Primer, among others.[1][6][5]
Misty Blues' influence extends beyond New England, as they have toured extensively throughout the continental U.S., Canada, and the UK. Their original recordings have garnered international acclaim, with widespread airplay across various platforms.[1][5] The band started when Gina Coleman was cast as a gospel singer in the Williamstown Theatre Festival production of A Raisin In The Sun in 1999.
