Troll (research station)

[edit]

This good topic nomination covers the topic of Norway's main research station in the Antarctic. Associated with the station are two facilities with sufficient notability and scope for their own article, the airfield and the satellite ground station. Can we get some comments so that we can get a consensus? GamerPro64 15:41, 19 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

  • Support A very well self-contained set of articles. And I rather like the idea of the larger topic proposed above for future expansion, though it seems like it will be quite a bit of work to do to get that one ready, considering the state of and nonexistence of some of the articles. I see no issues with this set of articles though. SilverserenC 06:21, 23 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Will the tour be heading to GAN soon? Wizardman 01:45, 7 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Yes. Luckily, this month. — ΛΧΣ21 01:55, 7 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Metamorfosis World Tour is at GAN now. — ΛΧΣ21 04:20, 10 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Okay. Until the article is reviewed and passed or failed this has to stay open. Wizardman 16:13, 27 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Okay. — ΛΧΣ21 18:38, 27 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Update: The Metamorfosis World Tour isn't over and won't be anytime soon. So, i will take it to peer review by now. — ΛΧΣ21 01:42, 30 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Once it gets the peer review I'll close this. Wizardman 04:51, 24 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Closed, promoted. Screw it. If no one wants to help follow procedure and help at PR then I'm not requiring it anymore. I can't do everything. Wizardman 03:44, 8 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Another warships good topic for you. I've written the three ship articles, while Sturm has overhauled the class page and has generally turned the content on the ships articles into something resembling English, for which I'd like to thank him. Anyways, here it is. Buggie111 (talk) 05:03, 3 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

We can't help it. We might need rehab if this goes any further. Buggie111 (talk) 15:42, 11 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support There's really not much to say. Yet another perfectly formed battleships topic put forward. These are always perfect and complete and everything. I don't know how you guys churn these out so quickly. Way more diligence and patience than I would have for continually working on the same topic. Maybe that's why I only have the one Good Article. :P SilverserenC 06:25, 23 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Here we have the third season of The X-Files, which is generally regarded – by fans and critics – as the best year the show ever produced. Some really stellars episodes are included, such as "Clyde Bruckman's Final Repose" and "Jose Chung's From Outer Space". I believe this topic meets the requirements as it is a listing of all the episodes that aired during the television series' third season, which limits it to a well-defined scope. The articles follow a solid formation and bear close structural resemblance to each other. In addition, the individual episode pages read as clearly related articles meant to be viewed in a series, but also stand on their own and present their information without expecting the reader to understand the topic as a whole. --Gen. Looks like this doesn't have 50% FA so how do I nominate it for GT? :) User:GamerPro64 suggested that I nominate this after RE4 hit GA in October. I've worked on three of these articles, Capcom Five, Killer7, and PN03 (the latter as a copyeditor and supporting contributor; Guy and Jimmy did the heavy lifting IIRC), so I can vouch for their quality. Viewtiful Joe (A-class) and RE4 both read very well now, and RE4 especially has come a long way since I last saw it. You may be confused as to why the Capcom Five topic only has 4 sub-articles but this is because the 5th game, Dead Phoenix, does not have its own article. I don't believe there are any other gaps or potential articles to expand the scope of the topic to. --Axem Titanium (talk) 15:53, 27 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

  • Support. I remember reviewing the parent article before, and read the others out of curiosity at that time. I do wonder if it's a good idea to include a piped link to Capcom Five#Dead Phoenix, marked with to indicate it has received a review (as part of the full article) while not being a reviewed article itself. It's technically unnecessary but if the other delegates are okay with the idea it would be a good way to explain the "four is not five" question. GRAPPLE X 16:01, 27 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support, but no need for a link to Dead Phoenix- if it doesn't have an article there's no point faking one for the box. --PresN 17:09, 27 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • Comment: Good to see that this has finally made it to GTC. I'd forgotten that I contributed to the topic—otherwise, I'd give it a support. The only potential gap in coverage I can see (and this is a long shot) is Shinji Mikami, since he oversaw the games. However, in my opinion, his article shouldn't be added, since the topic is about the games themselves. Anyway, great work. JimmyBlackwing (talk) 17:16, 27 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
