Central Mountain Air

[edit]

Shoud this airline should be listed under Air Canada, as it is an Air Canada partner, and operates flights for Air Canada? Or should it be listed as a seperate airline? Either way, it shouldn't be listed as "Air Canada Jazz - operated by Central Mountain Air" as it is its own airline. I personally think it should be listed under Air Canada, as it is a partner or Air Canada, just like Air Canada Jazz. Air Canada's reginal partner airlines include Air Canada Jazz, Central Mountain Air, Air Labrador, and Air Georgian (see Air Canada). Anyone have an opinion on this? Knest,

Each airline should be mentioned separately if they are flying the route under their own authority. This you can tell by the flight number. If it starts with AC, regardless of whose aircraft is being used, then it should be referred to as an Air Canada flight. For example, CMA offers direct service from Kelowna to Prince George. The flight number is 9M 725. Therefore, a CMA flight.

However, if CMA is flying a route under contract to Air Canada or Air Canada Jazz, such as Vancouver to Penticton, and it has an AC flight number, then it should be referred to as an Air Canada flight. Be careful, though, with code-shares. With these, it's best to call them by the airline whose aircraft is being used.

Hope this helps.Steve 04:08, 3 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Why bother with the Air Canada and Alaska Air links for Jazz and Horizon anyway? Aren't Jazz and Horizon sufficient? Greg Salter 16:10, 22 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Alaska Airlines to Dallas/Ft. Worth

[edit]

No official press release on the truth of this route. If a source can be given, the route will gladly be added to the article. Knest 05:33, 5 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Knest,

I am from Kelowna and Alaska Airlines only flies to and from Seattle. I haven't heard of any plans to fly from Kelowna to Dallas/ Ft. Worth with any airline.

Fair use rationale for Image:CYLW logo.JPG

I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Phoenix

[edit]

The text of the article and the entry for Westjet say that Phoenix is a destination, but a search of flightmapper show no flights past April 2022. Is the YLW-PHX route being cancelled? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 207.216.249.12 (talk) 22:45, 24 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
