In February 2017 an anonymous contributer added "Scoville scale: 30,000-50,000 SHU."

No, I'm not a pepper scientist but I assure you this is wrong. I wouldn't be commenting here if it was a little off. A wild guess not based on any authority but coming from me, a long-time isot user, is that those numbers are off by about a factor of 10. It is so wrong that if it can't be replaced it should just be removed.

The line earlier in the article: "Urfa biber is less spicy than many other chili peppers," is, in my view, correct. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.218.92.247 (talk) 20:40, 14 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
