Revised "scope"

[edit]

@TonyTheTiger:, why did you revert the change to this template? There was a consensus for a change, as advocated by myself and @Dimadick:, and @Dirtlawyer1: expressed concern at the state of the navbox as it was. @Frietjes: and @MarnetteD: opposed the merge only, but I'm fairly confident they would approve of these changes. Closing admin @Alakzi: thanked me for the changes after I made them too. The improved scope allows us to include more relevant links, such as Civic Biology, Six Days or Forever?, The Great Monkey Trial and Monkey Town, improving its functionality as a navbox. The adaptations of Inherit the Wind could always be added to the {{Lawrence and Lee}} template in an "adaptations" section. --Rob Sinden (talk) 08:11, 20 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Page move

[edit]

The discussion at Wikipedia:Templates_for_discussion/Log/2015_April_27#Template:Inherit_the_Wind was opened by Robsinden for the purpose of merging Template:Inherit the Wind and Template:Lawrence and Lee. Later Robsinden mentioned moving Template:Inherit the Wind to its current location, which is Template:Scopes Trial and changing its scope. Robsinden and I have started warring about the page move and change in scope. He claims that the discussion developed a consensus affirming the page move and I say that no such consensus evolved. The discussants were me (TonyTheTiger), Dirtlawyer1, Dimadick, Frietjes, and MarnetteD. The closer was Alakzi. It seems to me that the only discussant to support the proposed page move was Dimadick. Can others comment on whether the change in name and scope was supported and whether it was a good idea.--TonyTheTiger (T / C / WP:FOUR / WP:CHICAGO / WP:WAWARD) 18:51, 20 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

the move seems fine. Frietjes (talk) 18:52, 20 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]
