This template should be updated for Japan

[edit]

This template should be updated for Japan: see https://ich.unesco.org/en/decisions/11.COM/10.B.19: Yama, Hoko, Yatai, float festivals in Japan (No. 01059) ... "the present inscription replaces the 2009 inscriptions respectively of Hitachi Furyumono and that of Yamahoko, the float ceremony of the Kyoto Gion festival" --Toyotsu (talk) 07:33, 16 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

This template is very out-of-date and may be too big

[edit]

The current list has something like 400 entries. It doesn't seem like a good idea to have so many things in one template. And maybe this template should go away altogether and be replaced by a list? To still keep the articles interlinked, we could introduce an infobox (like the French wiki). Prad Nelluru (talk) 04:54, 17 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
