Error

[edit]

Robot made bad edit. See here. Green Cardamom (talk) 06:01, 30 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Well, whoever wrote the template was in error really; I'm not sure if it's going to be easy to train the bot to spot that all the time. But I think in non-subpaged Template: space at least it should be possible, because you should ignore all links not in <noinclude> tags. - Jarry1250 [Deliberation needed] 12:54, 30 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I'm very sorry, looks like the script itself is not rigorous identification, I have reported to the pywikipedia the bug (3513338), waiting to hear.--YFdyh000 (talk) 18:52, 30 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Potential error

[edit]

This change added a translation to the Extreme points of the United States page. Google backtranslates the Japanese as "Polar regions of the United States", which doesn't seem to match, but then it could just as easily be a problem with Google. YBG (talk) 19:55, 22 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Through the image File:USA-Extreme-Points.svg and content to confirm, no problem matching, Google Translate mistakes. --YFdyh000 (talk) 04:06, 23 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
What is the correct translation of the Japanese into English? "Polar regions" makes it sound like regions near the North or South poles. YBG (talk) 05:15, 23 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry I don't speak Japanese, and can not provide more help. --YFdyh000 (talk) 06:48, 23 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Wikidata phase 1 is live on the English Wikipedia. Please don't add iw-links back to article once it's been removed. Thanks! -- KTC (talk) 21:18, 13 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
