a collapseable pane (like the mozillazine tab one) would be fine which updates
on selecting an address book entry in the address book tab, this would be useful
for quickly looking up telephone numbers etc.

an extension to this would be to have all "categories" collapseable there to
select "Home" for addresses and "Phone"  for telephone number (...Work,Other)

[RFE] is deprecated in favor of severity: enhancement.  They have the same meaning.

provide more field options from column picker than name and email, so more info can be displayed in the tree.
