Linux 7.3 JA

1. Create an account
2. On 4th dialog ,type SBCS \ in account name.On JA locale, it is
   displayed as yen sign properly.
3. Click NEXT button
4. You will see typed \ is displayed as \(back slash) instead of yen
   sign.
   No matter with caracter coding  
   Please refer attachment

this happens with mail headers as well.
to repro: enter a backslash into the subject and observe the window title, it
displays as backslash instead of yen sign.

Ludovic, I use Japanese MS Win, and Japanese Font is used as UI Font(MS UI Gothic or similar), and all Japanese Fonts I have on MS Win has glyph of yen-sign for 0x5C.
So I can't check this bug.

Kasumi san, does problem still exist even after Kochi font or some others became popular(and now we can download IPA font as ".otf" files), and even after improvements around font selection/switching?
