  • Beta 128
  • Release 127.0 (64-bit)

Affected platforms

  • All

Steps to reproduce

  1. Open a PDF file in Firefox.
  2. Add an image to the PDF file.
  3. Open the Alt Text modal for the Added image.
  4. Type over 100 characters in the description field.

Expected result

  • The description field should have a character limit.

Actual result

  • The user can add any number of characters in the Alt Text Description field.

Regression range
Not a regression.

I think in some languages (like German) words can be pretty long, so I don't think we should have a limit.
But for sure we mustn't overflow the tooltip.
