In MS word 2007 I go to Send > E-mail and if:
-I have thunderbird open > nothing happens
-TB is closed > TB opens but the compose window does not appear

After this, if I go to MS word again: i cannot do Send > E-mail again becaus "E-mail" is greyed.
When I close MS-word I get the following message:
"You cannot close Microsoft Office Word until the Send Mail command is finished. Swithc to the New Message first, and either send or close the message".
I need to

This happened to me also on my previous PC. I thought it depended on that PC. Now that I have it also on my new PC I understand there is something wrong.

Obviously:
1-I have looked for the new message to send anywhere. It just isn't there.
2-I have rebooted my PC several time to no avail

I would greatly appreciate to know whether this is a bug and that can be solved.
I found online that other users have the same problem (see http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewtopic.php?f=39&t=2067665) but I could not find any solution.

Thanks

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Open any file in MS word
2.Click Send > Email

Actual Results:
1. Nothing happens
2. When I close MS-word I get the following message:
"You cannot close Microsoft Office Word until the Send Mail command is finished. Swithc to the New Message first, and either send or close the message"
3. I need to force MS word to exit from the tasklist, otherwise it would not close

Not a security problem. Unfortunately checking the security box hides the "new bug" announcement from everyone other than the security team so this bug may go unnoticed. You may need to go to the support site -- http://www.mozillamessaging.com/support/ -- or hop on IRC to get attention.
