Skjuta pronunciation

edit

Hi, the version you sent me was indeed much better than those you previously uploaded. I have converted it to Ogg Vorbis and uploaded it by overwriting File:Sv-fi-skjuta.oga. (You may have to clear your browser cache to confirm this.)

I think you should now flag File:Sv-fi-skjuta-2.oga and File:Sv-fi-skjuta-3.oga for deletion by placing {{SD|G7}} on the description pages so that people will not be confused by there being multiple files. I have uploaded them as revisions of File:Sv-fi-skjuta.oga before overwriting it with the new version, so they will be still available even if the files under the other names are deleted. Hi. Yes, I think the reason why it first was so hard to record the files is that the microfone starts to pick up sounds approx. a second after you've started recording, and when I said sj immediately it only captured -ta or -uta. Therefore only when I said a long sj-sound the end was captured, wich made it sound like affricate tɕuta or a long ɕuta, because long sj-s automaticly become ɕ. Now when I waited a second before saying it, I heard everything, and it was easy to say a clean ʃ, nearly ʂ. I discovered the problem withist the recordings by recording a "blanc" recording, when I noticed that there was a short, quiet sough in the beginning, which the disappeared. I figured out that that short time it doesn't capture anything.

Now I also flagged file 2 and 3 for deletion. EiptRbkt (talk) 20:10, 28 January 2019 (UTC)Reply
