Th uploader claims that William Murphy released the image to public domain; however the source page lists the license as http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/4.0/ . Is there some other source that supports the public domain claim? Jarekt (talk) 11:38, 3 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Jarekt, please see the file page under Source [1] for further details referring to William Murphy etc or

[1], does this need to be added to the tag as well? ThanksRstory (talk) 18:02, 3 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Rstory I am sorry but at this link all I see is "This Photographic Images Catalogue which has been created by William Murphy [Infomatique] is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 International License." Commons does not take NonCommercial licenses (see com:lic). --Jarekt (talk) 03:20, 4 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for checking, absolutely clear no NonCommercial licences, let me see if there is another tag, but somehow I doubt it. Local upload instead?--Rstory (talk) 19:12, 4 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]
You can upload it to English wikipedia as a fair use, although the requirements on those are getting stricter. --Jarekt (talk) 01:56, 5 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Tried fair use, but I am not certain No.36 will pass--Rstory (talk) 19:53, 5 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]
