Copyrighted set photo, does not qualify for {{Cc-by-3.0-BollywoodHungama}}.   — Jeff G. please ping or talk to me 12:22, 6 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Would uploading the version seen here save it from deletion? Unfortunately, it is watermarked. --Kailash29792 (talk) 12:47, 6 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@Kailash29792: No, sorry, the setting is not a "party or event".   — Jeff G. please ping or talk to me 13:21, 6 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Upload the previous version, which has watermark. 42.0.5.240 04:45, 7 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Its taken by a Bollywood Hungama photographer. Their original permission email send to Wikimedia did not mention anything about "parties and events". It was later added by Wikipedia editors to prevent copyrighted material such as posters, etc. from flowing in. See the old revision. So one needs to apply common sense in such a situation. In fact, the documentation includes the wording "only to images at sets, parties, and press meetings, and not screen-caps or photos copyrighted by other sites". This photo is from the set. The clause was moved to the documentation from the main Template while simplifying it to a box in February 2018. This is what is causing all this confusion that only "parties and events" are free from copyright, while this is not the actual case. 2.51.188.85 10:07, 7 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Kept: looks OK to me. --JuTa 17:49, 30 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]
