This appears to be a complex logo not originally created by uploader. Ellin Beltz (talk) 18:06, 22 September 2020 (UTC)
- Keep This isn't a logo, its a flag. The flag is acually based off an already uploaded png and it states that I made the svg but didn't create it originally. It is based off File:Flag of Waco, Texas.jpg which is free domain and has been up and used since 2006. --Cookieman1.1.1 (talk) 00:31, 26 October 2020 (UTC)
Kept: as derivative of File:Flag of Waco, Texas.jpg. --rubin16 (talk) 09:11, 9 July 2021 (UTC)

This image has been updated to a newly adopted flag that contains a trademarked logo. While the original file uploaded may not have been in violation, this one is. WebmasterWacoTX (talk) 17:20, 1 March 2024 (UTC)
Delete. complex logo.--RZuo (talk) 17:37, 1 March 2024 (UTC)
- Keep Section 2(b) of the Lanham Act expressly forbids trademark protections for flags, coats of arms, or other insignia used by municipalities (or states or the Federal government). Houston already tried doing this and the US Court of Appeals already denied it in 2013. CoffeeCrumbs (talk) 17:46, 1 March 2024 (UTC)
- And, in any case, this is a pending application, filed on Feburary 14, which has not been reviewed. We can certainly take it down pending the challenge, but saying that it is currently trademarked is not accurate. CoffeeCrumbs (talk) 17:51, 1 March 2024 (UTC)
Speedy keep PD-textlogo, in any case, and COM:INUSE. Commons does not enforce trademarks. -- Ikan Kekek (talk) 07:46, 2 March 2024 (UTC)
Keep. Clearly below the threshold of originality in the US. IronGargoyle (talk) 16:34, 8 March 2024 (UTC)
