This file was initially tagged by Elizium23 as Copyvio (copyvio) and the most recent rationale was: This is not original work. If it is a NASA file then it should be credited to NASA, even if it is Public Domain. Yann (talk) 17:07, 15 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Support as nominator. This uploader is developing a track record of deceptive self-representation, evasiveness, and falsification of licensing. This seems like a rather obvious case to me. Elizium23 (talk) 20:53, 15 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
If this comes from NASA, the license should be fixed, rather than deleting the file. Yann (talk) 08:31, 16 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Commons processes never cease to puzzle me. I dutifully pulled down a menu and touched the "Report Copyvio" button to report this as a copyright violation, but that button's actual function was to request a speedy deletion.
Likewise, at File:Nasa--methalox-rocket-launch.jpg, all I did was press "No permission" which I expected to report that there was no license permission, but again this turns into a speedy request.
There's no need to request deletion of these files. Unfortunately I prefer automated and streamlined workflows to arduous and manual ones. In the past, admins have indicated that I'd need to manually tag hundreds of files for deletion discussions. It'd be really nice if these buttons did what they said on the tin and no more. Or if the filing process could be automated better. It would really help people like me. Because I often avoid filing requests if they're too much work. @Elizium23: Creating unneeded DRs do not help. The source and the license must be fixed, that's all. Yann (talk) 08:56, 16 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Kept: no valid reason for deletion. License and source fixed. --Yann (talk) 08:59, 16 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
