I see no permission at http://www.woz.org/photos/4/17 Pieter Kuiper (talk) 00:06, 19 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I do not either. But there used to be such a notice. I am discussing this with OTRS currently. -- とある白い猫 ちぃ? 00:36, 19 March 2012 (UTC)
There doesn't seem to be any time limit on that page, so I'd assume that the permission is valid as long as the Internet Archive is listed as source. Similarly, you can't repeal a CC licence by changing licence tagging on Flickr; the old licence still continues to apply. --Stefan4 (talk) 01:08, 19 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
True but it does not say "commercially available" nor does it say "allows derivatives" so I feel OTRS verification is perhaps necessary. Mind you the uploads were in 2005-2006 when it was simpler times. The site in question has no (C) markings in its current form so I am under the impression this site (http://www.woz.org) could be a goldmine for us for Apple-related images. -- とある白い猫 ちぃ? 01:30, 19 March 2012 (UTC)
The text also mentions "reports and news articles" which could be seen as a limitation on the use. --Stefan4 (talk) 01:49, 19 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Info As the author is listed as "Al Luckow", I suppose he's the one to get OTRS approval from. "In Steve's circles" link on his Google+ page [1] he has an "Alan Luckow" link to [2], so maybe communicate via that page? --Tony Wills (talk) 06:20, 19 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Ahh, I should have looked at the current woz site first, where there is a direct link to Alan's site [3] ! :-) --Tony Wills (talk) 06:27, 19 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I would immensely appreciate if someone would take the lead in communicating with the copyright holders. Real world affairs limit my available time unfortunately. -- とある白い猫 ちぃ? 13:17, 19 March 2012 (UTC)

Deleted: In view of the uncertainty here, I think I have to delete these. .     Jim . . . . Jameslwoodward (talk to me) 17:03, 12 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
