•  Support This film was Keaton's first at MGM, one of his final two directed features, and regarded as one of his best features. It entered the American public domain this year on January 1, 2024. Its contemporary from earlier in the year Steamboat Bill Jr. entered the public domain in 1956 when its copyright was not renewed. The fact of this film entering the public domain 68 years later exhibits the long length of copyright term. Plus I personally find this film to be quite funny and an artistic triumph by Keaton. -- SDudley (talk) 00:25, 10 January 2024 (UTC)
