This is NTT (Nippon Telephone and Telegraph Co., Ltd.) MC-5APNK Telephone Card payphone. This phone was made the same generation with MC-3 and MC-4 series Telephone card payphone. MC-4 and MC-5 series payphone only accept telephone card and MC-3 series payphone dose accept both the telephone card and coins. So prior installing the telephone card payphone, the decision maker of the public place and NTT often chooses to install MC-3 payphone for the convenience. Because of that, MC-4 and MC-5 phones are not often installed to many public places and rarely see, however the telephone card only accept payphones are sometimes often installed with MC-3 payphone to busy public place for less maintenances without the toll correction and avoid waiting for telephone card holders. In the year 2006, MC-5APNK telephone card payphone is very rarely to see nation wide in Japan. This phone is photographed by and owned by Takuya Nakayama. NTTのMC-5APNKテレホンカード電話機です。この電話機は、MC-3やMC-4シリーズの電話機と同時期に製造・設置されていました。MC-4とMC-5シリーズ電話機はテレホンカードでのみ使用が可能で、MC-3シリーズ電話機はテレホンカードと１０円・１００円硬貨が利用できます。設置場所の責任者やNTTの担当者は、機能的で便利なMC-3電話機を選んでインストールしました。ですので、MC-4やMC-5テレホンカード電話機は、MC-3電話機の様には見かけることが無く、見かけることがとても貴重なのですが、駅や空港などとても混雑する場所では、MC-3と一緒にMC-4やMC-5電話機がテレホンカード利用者の電話の順番待ち解消と投入された硬貨の回収のない為、設置されていたりします。2006年現在、MC-5APNKテレホンカード電話機を公衆の場所に設置されているのを見かけるのは、殆どなくなりました。この電話機をコレクションとして保有し、写真を中山卓也が撮影しました。 |
