Description
English: Ganesha Chaturthi is the festival celebrating the rebirth God Ganesha. On this day, People worship and celebrate with the idol of lord ganesha, and this idol will be immersed on sea or to the water bodies on the 3rd or 7th day from the day of his birthday.
தமிழ்: விநாயகர் சதுர்த்தி, கடவுள் விநாயகரின் பிறந்த நாள்.

அந்த நாளில் அவரது திருவுருவ சிலையை வைத்து வழிபடுவது இந்தியர்களின் வழக்கம்.

சிலை வைத்து வழிபட்ட 3ஆம் அல்லது 7ஆம் நாள், விநாயகரின் சிலையானது கடலில் அல்லது எதேனும் நீர் நிலைகளில் கரைக்கப்படும்.
